(Scroll down for video) A restaurant in Canada, announced that it has added lobster ice cream to its menu, and it became an instant hit.

Open Eats of Summerside, added the delicacy after its owner, 27-year-old Alex Clark, saw a similar product at another restaurant.

Clark said that diners are aware that there are lobster in the ice cream as anyone can feel the taste and the claws are visible.

The dessert was produced as part of the Go Lobster! Contest. 21 area restaurants are offering different lobster dishes as part of the contest.

However, the lobster ice cream is the only dessert. The restaurant charges $11 a serving.
