(Scroll down for video) Police are looking to arrest four teens on a charge of assault after allegedly smearing dog feces in the face of a teenage girl, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Cleveland Police are appealing for information after the 13-year-old girl was assaulted on Tuesday, on a footpath which runs along Stumps Cross in Guisborough.

The incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., when the girl was approached by four male youths aged between 13 and 14 years old.

The males pushed the girl onto the grass, and one of them who was wearing a plastic glove, wiped dog feces on her face. The males were all wearing green jumpers and ran away from the scene.

Police urged anyone with information to come forward.

The mother of the victim, Deborah Dutton, said that she was shocked to learn about the attack on her daughter Hannah, and she called it “a sick attack.”

She thinks a dog walker may be able to identify the suspects.
