Woman releases live cockroaches in the fish section of supermarket

A woman was arrested on a charge of causing a disturbance after allegedly releasing a lot of cockroaches in a supermarket because she wanted to feed them, according to the police in Japan.

Hyogo police said that they have arrested the 56-year-old woman, who was not identified, after being accused of releasing the cockroaches in the fish aisle.

The woman, who is a worker at a school, was charged with one count of causing a disturbance. According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Sunday are 11:30 p.m.

The woman entered the supermarket and opened a plastic bag filled with more than 10 live cockroaches in front of the fresh fish.

The woman said that she caught he bugs at home, and wanted to feed them. The employees of the supermarket quickly collected the cockroaches.

The following day, an exterminator was called to the supermarket.
