(Scroll down for video) Police officers around the country are suffering backlash over the shooting of a few black men.

This week, a couple went into a restaurant and they refused to be seated at a table next to a group of police officers.

The four police officers of Pennsylvania, were eating at the Eat n’ Park restaurant in Homestead, when the couple came and refused to be seated next to them.

Homestead Police Sgt. John Kaschauer, who was among the officers, said that “just because you don’t like somebody doesn’t mean you can’t be kind to them.”

He and his fellow officers decided to pay the couple’s bill to show that they were not offended.

The officers added a $10 tip to the check and send it to the couple’s table along with a note that read: “Sir, your check was paid for by the police officers that you didn’t want to sit next to. Thank you for your support. We left a $10 tip too.”

“Not all cops are bad, not all people are bad,” Kaschauer said.
