The friends and family members of a 17-year-old boy in Sevierville, Tennessee, are in shock after learning that he had decided to marry a 71-year-old woman who he met just three weeks ago.

71-year-old Almeda Errell and 17-year-old Gary Hardwick, met at the funeral of her son Robert.

Three weeks after the first meeting, they knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other and got married.

Errell, who works as a supermarket assistant said that she was not looking for a teenager, but Hardwick just happened to come along at the right time.

The mother of four had been completely heartbroken after losing his oldest son following a seizure. She found herself alone, and was looking for a soul mate.

Hardwick revealed that he had always been attracted to older women, and he had been trapped in his relationship with a 77-year-old woman when he met Errell for the first time.

They met for the second time at a birthday party for Errell’s granddaughter. During the celebration Errell fell off her chair as she was blown away by the goods looks of Hardwick.

After the birthday party, the couple met each other every night.

Two weeks later, Errell accepted Hardwick’s marriage proposal.

Hardwick said that she is wonderful beyond his wildest dreams. And she really is the dream woman he always wanted.
