(Scroll down for video) While most people don’t like to be pulled over by police, kids in Ohio, are looking forward to seeing the police flashing their lights.

The Brimfield Police Department is targeting children under 12 years old to make sure they are wearing their helmets while riding their bikes.

If police officers see a child on bike with a helmet on, they will pull the child and hand the child a ticket.

The tickets are issued as part of “Operation Safe Summer.” Kids then take the ticket to a certain ice cream vender, where they get a free ice cream cone with the flavor of their choice.

One mother said that when her children learned about the tickets, they began riding around with their bikes and helmets on in hopes of being pulled over by police.
