Police are looking to arrest several young men after being accused of raping a teenage girl in a park behind a popular theater, according to police in the united Kingdom.
Bromley police said that the attack unfolded in the park behind the Churchill Theatre in London, around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The teenage girl, who was not identified, was sitting on a bench when she was approached by a group of men, all about 20 years old.
The men ripped her clothes off and took chances raping her in the Church House Gardens park. When the attack ended, the girl called the police, and she was taken to the Sexual Assault Referral Centre.
She received support from specialists. Police are urging to the public to come forward with information that will help them locate the suspects.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Residents in the area were shocked by the attack as the park is usually filled with adults and children and is crowded by those visiting the Churchill Theatre.
