A woman who got angry because she was told to leave her mother’s home, decided to use a frying pan to get revenge, according to police in Florida.
Lakeland police said that they have arrested 35-year-old Wendi Raley, after being accused of using a frying pan to hit the head of 45-year-old Jerry Watkins.
Raley was charged with one count of aggravated battery.
According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Tuesday night, after Raley went swimming with her mother and her mother’s boyfriend.
When they returned home, Watkins and Raley got into a heated argument, and he asked her to leave his home. Raley grabbed a frying pan and slammed on the head of her mother’s boyfriend.
Raley’s mother, Victoria Raley, 54, then took the frying pan away from her daughter.
Wendi Raley then grabbed another frying pan and hit Watkins in the head a second time, causing a cut and swelling on the left side.
Watkins was taken to the Orange Park Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
