(Scroll down for video) An angry father of the United Kingdom, who received a fine for taking his son on vacation without getting permission from his school, dumped thousands of pennies in a government office.

36-year-old Brent Catterson of West Midlands, said that trouble began when he decided to take his 8-year-old son Michael to Majorca, Spain, for four days.

He did not get the permission of his son’s school for a leave of absence, and he received an $80 fine. Catterson, who considers himself a joker, put together two bags of pennies, totaling $80.

He walked into the Telford and Wrekin Borough Council offices, and dumped thousands of pennies on the counter, saying that these are for the fine.

Catterson said that he believes he got the last laugh.

Catterson decided to dump all the pennies because the woman who works at the council offices was arrogant to him on the phone.

Luckily, the council accepted the payment, and they sent Catterson a receipt. The video of the entire incident was uploaded to Facebook, where it went viral.
