A man was rushed to a hospital after falling from a tall tree while drunk, according to firefighters in California.
Santa Rosa firefighters said that the incident unfolded on Sunday around 3:30 p.m., after the man, who was not identified, drank several bottles of Corona on top of a 100-foot-tall redwood tree.
At some point, the man fell about 70 feet, and landed on top of a water tank.
The barely conscious and wounded man was taken by ambulance to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, before being transferred to another facility for further treatment.
Police said that several people called 911 to report the man on top of the tall tree on Crest Drive.
When police and firefighters arrived at the scene, they were unable to locate the man on the tree as they did not know that the man already fell down.
Firefighters eventually found the man in his backyard. He had several empty glass bottles of Corona in his pockets.
Miraculously, the glass bottles did not break.
