Police in Brazil, said that they were called after people thought that the woman was carrying a corpse in her suitcase.

The woman was waiting to board a train when she was questioned by police.

At first, 23-year-old Natasha Vitoriano Souto walked away from police and she walked towards the bathroom, police said.

However, she soon admitted that she was carrying an 11-year-old boy in her suitcase.

Police opened the suitcase and discovered the boy without shoes inside the suitcase. The child, who was dressed in a turquoise vest and shorts, appeared frail and nervous.

Souto said that she found the boy at an intersection, and he begged her to adopt him. The boy allegedly told the woman that he has been placed in foster care after being abused by his mother.

However, according to Souto, the boy told her that his foster parents abandoned him, and he was left homeless and he has to care for himself.

Souto told police that she agreed to adopt the boy and take him 550 miles from Rio to her house in Curitiba.
