Police are looking to arrest a man on a charge of theft after allegedly stealing a cellphone from a woman before using the device to post a selfie on the victim's Facebook page, according to police in Australia.

Melbourne police said that the incident unfolded around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The suspect entered the reception area of an apartment complex and approached the counter of the staff members working on the first floor.

The 20-year-old man saw a cellphone on the counter, and when the employees were distracted, he took the mobile device and ran out of the building.
