Woman destroys convenience store after being locked inside because she was caught stealing chocolate

(Scroll down for video) Police are looking to arrest a woman on a charge of vandalism for allegedly destroying a convenience store after she was caught stealing chocolate, according to police in Florida.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that an employee of the Shell gas station convenience store located at 715 N. Main Street, decided to lock the automatic doors after the woman placed $11 worth of chocolate in her pockets.

The employee called the police, but before officer arrived at the scene, the woman began throwing things around in the store.

The surveillance cameras of the store recorded the woman as she was destroying items. After the woman started throwing glass bottles, the employee decided to open the automatic doors.

The woman ran out of the store, and disappeared from the scene before police arrived. Police are offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the suspect.
