(Scroll down for video) A boy was taken to an urgent care center after a peacock bit his head while playing at a park in Florida.

30-year-old Laura Brown said that she her son Jackson, 2, stopped at the Magnolia Park on Tuesday.

There is a playground in the park along with a several peacocks.

When Laura turned around for a minute, three peacocks ran up to her son. One of the peacocks then jumped on the boy's head and bit him while flapping its wings.

Laura pushed away the bird, but her son suffered a puncture wound to the head. The boy also suffered a cut near his eye and other minor injuries.

Laura called park rangers and asked them to remove the peacocks because they are dangerous, but officials refused her request.

They did put up signs warning parents about aggressive wildlife.

Laura vowed to fight until the peacocks are removed.
