Practice what you preach is an important slogan for everyone who wants to be respected.
However, one very influential woman seemed to have missed the lesson.
The assistant district attorney of Texas, who prosecutes people who drive while intoxicated, has been arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Kristen Parker, 27, who works as the assistant DA in McLennan County, was arrested on charges of DWI.
Parker was arrested by a Baylor University police officer at 4:45 a.m. on Saturday. She was booked into the McLennan County Jail.
Bail for Parker was set at $1,000.
Parker’s job was to prosecute misdemeanor DWI cases since she joined the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office last year.
The McLennan County Prosecutor’s Office placed Parker on administrative leave after her arrest.
