A teenager who managed to escape from police custody, taunted officers.

18-year-old Amy Sharp of Australia, managed to escape from police custody.

Police said that Sharp was at the Surry Hills Corrective Services Cell Complex in Sydney, when she escaped at about 3:00 p.m.

Police released two mug shots of Sharp, and asked the public for information about her whereabouts. Police also posted the photos to Facebook.

Sharp, who was still on the run, soon responded to the police alert by asking them to use a more flattering photo of her.

She attached a hot-looking photo of herself and asked police to use that. Police apparently used that post to track her down.

Sharp was arrested after midnight. Police then announced her arrest.

“About 12:20 a.m., Sharp was arrested in Wentworth Park by police from Leichhardt Local Area Command, assisted by officers from the Public Order and Riot Squad.

She is being taken to the Newtown Police Station, where she will be charged.”
