(Scroll down for video) Two men in Tennessee, were arrested after a neighborly feud got out of control.

Police were called to a home in Drummonds, after witnesses heard gunshots.

Officers who arrived at the scene, learned that John Higdon, 48, fired shots in the air to scare his neighbor, Edgar Dallas McLellan, 57.

Higdon told officers that his neighbor sent five of his employees, who were dressed in camouflage clothes, to hide behind his home and to shine their flashlights at him.

Officers reached the area and they did not find anyone so they left.

When police received a second complaint at 11:00 p.m. that night, reporting that shots were being fired into the air, deputies returned to arrest Higdon.

At 2:00 a.m., while Higdon was in jail on charges of reckless endangerment, McLellan took a backhoe and began demolishing Higdon’s home.

Police then arrested McLellan on charges of aggravated criminal trespassing and felony vandalism.

Higdon’s brother, who also lived in the home that was destroyed, said that the house was built by their father 40 years ago. The house was so badly damaged that they can no longer live there.
