An elderly Democratic National Convention delegate was arrested on a charge of indecent assault after allegedly licking the chest of his colleague during the DNC in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia police said.
74-year-old Walter Weeks of Garnet Valley, who voted for Bernie Sanders, was charged with was charged with second-degree misdemeanor indecent assault after being accused of hugging and licking the chest of 30-year-old Gwen Snyder, at a Double Tree hotel bar around 2:00 a.m.
Snyder told police that she was drinking at the bar when Weeks hugged her and aggressively licked her chest without consent.
However, prosecutors decided to drop the case because Weeks was drunk during the attack.
After sharp criticism from the Philadelphia National Organization for Women, District Attorney Seth Williams decided to take action against Weeks.
Weeks denied the allegations.
