Couple squirts bottle of ketchup on pharmacy employee and throws empty bottle at customer

Police are looking to arrest two people on a charge of assault after allegedly squirting ketchup on a pharmacy employee, according to police in New York.

The New York Police Department said that the two suspects, who were not identified, entered the Duane Reade located at 1627 Broadway near W 50th Street, and got into an altercation with an employee.

The incident unfolded on Friday around 4:00 p.m. During the altercation, the couple grabbed a ketchup bottle on squirted the contents on the 53-year-old employee.

The two then ran out of the store. After several minutes, the two suspects came back into the store and throw the empty bottle of ketchup at a customer.

No one was injured as a result of the attack, but the employee’s clothes were ruined. So far, no arrests have been made.
