(Scroll down for video) A teenager became very angry after his father placed him in handcuffs as punishment for throwing a party while he was not home.

Jesse Holton, 17, who has two younger siblings, retaliated by killing both of his parents.

Police in Alabama, said that the boy’s father, who is the former mayor of the town, called the Elmore police on his son after he and his wife returned to find their home trashed.

Mike Holton, 37, told officers that he had handcuffed his son after learning that held a party in their house while they were out of town.

Police found a pipe, which proved that there was drugs at the party. Mike told police that he wanted to file charges against his son.

Authorities said that about 20 minutes after the deputy left, Holtons’ neighbor called 911 after the teenager told him that his parents were injured.

Jesse claimed that his father shot his mother, April Holton, 37, before shooting himself in murder-suicide.

However, evidence showed that the father died during a struggle and he suffered gunshot wounds that would have been impossible to inflict on himself.

Deputies recovered a 9 millimeter semi-automatic handgun in the master bedroom of the home, where it is believed Mike and April Holton were shot.

The 17-year-old boy was charged for the double murder as an adult. His bail was set at $500,000, according to District Attorney Randall Houston.
