Man’s life is saved after bullet hits his Huawei smartphone in pocket of his jacket during armed robbery

A man is grateful to be alive thanks to his smartphone.

The businessman of South Africa, said that he was shot in the chest at close range during a robbery.

41-year-old Siraaj Abraham, who is a father of five children, said that he was attacked by armed robbers outside his home in Cape Town.

The masked men were not happy that Abraham only had about $19.50. They stole the small amount of money and they shot him in the chest before fleeing.

After the shooting, Abraham was taken to a hospital, where he was found to be in good condition. However, he soon realized that is Huawei smartphone was shattered.

Abraham learned that his Huawei P8 Lite unit that was stored in the front pocket of his jacket, took the 9 millimeter bullet and ultimately saved his life.

Huawei offered Abraham the newer model Huawei P9 Lite for free just in case he runs into more problems on the street.
