Aundreis Bass of Atlanta, was found hanging in his bedroom by his mother.
The incident unfolded on Saturday morning, Bass’ mother, Cantenecia Stokes, said.
Bass’ three younger siblings told their mother that they saw the 11-year-old boy hanging himself using rope tied to the bedroom closet.
Stokes was making breakfast at the time. Stokes was told that Bass was not breathing, before she ran to the room and called 911 for help.
Bass was taken to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where he died. Stokes revealed that she will not allow her other children to use the Internet without supervision.
She wants her story publicized in order to warn other parents about the material they can see on YouTube. Bass allegedly watched hanging videos on YouTube before he killed himself.
