Atlanta police said that they have arrested Robert Walker, after being accused of the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Fuqua.

Walker has been charged with murder and aggravated assault.

According to the police investigation, Walker and another man, who was not identified, stole a bike from Fuqua’s younger sister on Sunday.

Fuqua later confronted the two men as they were selling cellphones and water bottles under a blue tent on the street.

When he demanded the stolen bicycle back, Walker pulled out a gun and shot him. They then fled from the scene. Fuqua was rushed to a hospital, where he later died.

Police used video surveillance footage from a shopping mall to identify the shooter. Fuqua used the bike to get to work.
