Animal control officers in the United Kingdom, were called to a woman’s home after a fox burst into her living room and bit her while watching television.

33-year-old Melissa Warner of Surrey, said that the fox had been hanging around her house for several weeks.

Warner, who has a 1-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl, is afraid that if the fox is not caught soon, it will attack her children. She keeps all her doors and windows locked so the fox should not be able to enter her home.

Warner revealed that when she was sitting on her couch while watching TV, the fox lunged at her and sank its teeth into her finger.

At first, she thought the animal was one of her two cats. She had to work 10 minutes to get rid of the fox. Warner received a tetanus shot in the hospital, and was prescribed antibiotics.

She told animal control officers that the fox had been to her house twice before, but it never attacked anyone.
