(Scroll down for video) A mother was ordered to stay away from her children after leaving them home alone while she traveled out of the country.

The mother of Virginia, went to Cancun, Mexico, with her boyfriend, and she posted many nice photos of her trip to social media.

However, when she returned, Aida Stovall, 30, of Henrico, was arrested by U.S. Customs agents in Florida, and she was extradited back to Virginia, on three counts of child neglect.

Police said that the mother left her three young daughters home alone. She asked a 67-year-old neighbor to check on them periodically.

The neighbor told police that Stovall, whom she never met before, approached her and asked if she can care for the three girls, but when she declined, Stovall asked her to check on them from time to time.

The woman said that when she went to the home, she did not see the children, but Stovall did not leave her a contact number in case of emergency.

Stovall told the older woman that her 11-year-old daughter will cook and do the laundry while she was on vacation.

Police got involved after the 11-year-old girl told her teacher that she was left to care for her 8-year-old twin sisters. The children were placed in the custody of a family member.
