Police chief’s son abducts 20 neighborhood cats and sexually tortures them to death

(Scroll down for video) The son of a police chief was arrested on a charge of animal cruelty after being accused of abducting many cats and sexually torturing them to death, according to police in California.

Now, 25-year-old Robert Farmer of South Bay, is facing up to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to 21 counts of animal cruelty.

According to the criminal complaint, Farmer abducted at least 21 cats from his neighborhood. He then tortured them until they died.

The incidents occurred over a two month period. Farmer was caught after surveillance video recorded him killing cats outside an elementary school.

Police found Farmer sleeping in his car surrounded by many cat collars. Police also found a dead cat that showed signs of sexual abuse.

Farmer is the son of San Jose police Captain Jack Farmer.
