(Scroll down for video) A boy was arrested on a charge of arson after allegedly setting a special needs child on fire in an attempt to kill him, according to police in Texas.
The Kerrville Fire Marshal said that one child was placed behind bars after he and a friend tried to kill the 10-year-old special needs child by setting his body on fire.
Kayden Culp was rushed to a hospital, where he is in critical condition. He suffered burns on more than 20 percent of his body.
According to the police investigation, the 10-year-old boy who suffers from autism, was playing in a field with two other children when one suspect doused him with gasoline.
The boy who is currently in custody, set the special needs child on fire inside a shed on Sunday afternoon. The floor of a shed was damaged from the fire.
Culp’s family members believe that the suspects planned to kill him.
