Bullet hits 13-year-old girl after brother got angry while playing video game and fired gun at screen

A young man was arrested on a charge of reckless injury to a child after allegedly firing a weapon at a television screen while playing a video game, according to police in Texas.

Houston police said that they have arrested 21-year-old Kevin Castillo, after being accused of causing an injury to his 13-year-old sister.

He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $30,000.

According to the police investigation, Castillo was playing a video game when he pointed a gun at the television screen on Saturday around 2:45 p.m.

Castillo pulled the trigger, and the bullet went through the television, through a wall and hit his sister who was sitting in the next room.

She was struck behind the right ear. She was rushed to the Memorial Hermann Medical Center, where she is said to be in good condition.
