A woman was arrested after her boyfriend told police that she had a dream about an Arab man attacking her.

The incident began when 30-year-old Kristin Rutan Skivers of Marathon, Florida, ran to her neighbor's home and asked for help.

Skivers told the neighbors that she needed to go to the nearest hospital because she was attacked and poisoned by an Arab man.

The woman then told police that the man, who was dressed in a long blue garment with dark hair, a beard, and a turban on his head, came into her home, held a gun to her head and forced her to ingest a blue and white “kill pill.”

She said that her boyfriend fought with the intruder and chased him out of their home. Skivers explained that her boyfriend advised her to drink milk in order to throw up the pill that she was forced to ingest.

Police went to the couple’s home, where they spoke to Skivers’
boyfriend.

He told Sgt. Nick Whiteman and Deputy Annette Simo that he was sleeping when Skivers woke up and asked him to take her to the hospital.

When he said “no”, she went to the neighbor’s house for help. She was taken to Fishermen’s Community Hospital.

Deputy Becky Herrin said that Skivers insisted that the story was true, but she was arrested on charges of filing a false police report of aggravated assault and burglary.
