A man was arrested after trying to have sex with a girl at a motel, according to police in Australia.

Now, 54-year-old Glenn Sheaff of Queensland, has been sentenced to serve two years in prison after being found guilty of procure a child under 16.

According to the criminal complaint, Sheaff posted an online ad looking to have sex with girls. "The younger the better," he wrote in the online ad.

He was willing to pay $400 to have sex with a 16-year-old girl, and offered to pay more for a younger child. A police officer posed as a 21-year-old woman in an online conversation with Sheaff for a week.

She arranged the delivery of what he believed would be a 16-year-old girl. Sheaff told the woman that he wanted to have sex with the girl twice.

The father of four children arrived at the Burleigh Gold Coast Motel, with vodka and cash to pay for sex. Sheaff brought the vodka to help the child stay calm.
