(Scroll down for video) A hungry thief showed his soft side by leaving behind an apology note, according to a student in Kansas.

Hunter Jobbins, who attends the Kansas State University in Manhattan, said that a thief stole a Kit Kat chocolate bar that he left behind in his car.

Jobbins was also surprised to find a handwritten note, which was left behind by the thief.

In it, the thief, who was not identified, apologized to the owner of the chocolate bar.

“I saw a Kit Kat chocolate bar in the cup holder of your car. I love Kit Kats so I checked your door and it was unlocked. I did not take anything other than the Kit Kat. I am sorry and hungry,” the thief wrote.

At first, Jobbins was extremely angry at the thief, but then he saw the funny side of the situation and laughed.
