A college student in New York, said that she was surprised to get a positive response from her neighbors who were having very loud sex.

19-year-old Jenna Levine, who is a student at the University of Syracuse, said that her neighbors’ very loud love session disturbed her when she was trying to sleep.

The loud sex also made her sad because she realized that she was lonely. In order to get the neighbors in the dormitory to have sex more quietly, she decided to send them a nice letter.

Levine wrote: “Hello neighbor. Please have sex a little more quietly please. Some of us are trying to nap and not be reminded how alone I am. Feel free to make all the love you want. Just please make it nasty at a lower volume. Thank you!”

She took the note and slipped under the neighbors’ door. It did not take long for her neighbors to respond. She found a chocolate bar along with an apology letter.

"Deepest apologies. Hope you enjoy this chocolate bar!" The neighbors wrote on the wrapper of the chocolate bar.

In the apology letter, the neighbors wrote: “Dearest neighbors.
I'm so incredibly sorry about that. I didn't realize how loud I was being, and you know, sometimes having loud sex is low key kinda hot, but obviously at your cost, which I apologize so sincerely for.

“I'm so sorry, I hope this hasn't occurred too often, and thanks so much for the incredible and hilarious card. I will for sure try to make it nasty at a significantly lower level. And hey, don't you worry, you're not alone forever. The right person will come along when the time comes. I was single for 18 years. Haha. Once again, I apologize so sincerely and deeply. Sorry, Room 338.”

Levine uploaded the exchange in Twitter, where it went viral.

The post received more than 47,000 retweets and 116,000 likes.
