Man named Shaquille O’Neal steals wheelchair from disabled man to escape from police after crashing his car during chase

(Scroll down for video) A man with a similar name to basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal, has been arrested on a charge of fleeing and eluding after allegedly stealing wheelchair from an elderly person in order to escape from police, according to police in Florida.
Largo police said that they have arrested 21-year-old Shaquille O’Neal Clemons, after being accused of leading police on a high-speed chase following a traffic stop.
Clemons was charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license, reckless driving with property damage and injury, and leaving the scene of a crash with property damage and injury.
He was also charged with fleeing and eluding, possession of hydromorphone hydrochloride, possession of marijuana, and violation of probation for aggravated battery.
He was booked into jail, and his bail has been set at $62,250.
According to the criminal complaint, Clemons was driving a Mercedes 250, when police tried to pull him over. Clemons took off and then crashed into a car and a school bus while police were chasing him.
There were no children on the bus. Clemons later crashed into two other vehicles. Clemons then got out of his car and stole the wheelchair of Robert Druce, who suffered a stroke last year.
Clemons then fled in the wheelchair, trying to get away from the officers. Druce tried to go after Clemons, but he was too weak.
A police officer was able to stop Clemons a few blocks from the accident scene.
