Police launched an investigation after one man’s manhood was cut off and another man was shot in the stomach during a street fight, according to police in Canada.
Toronto police said that the incident unfolded around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, on Mercer Street near John Street.
About 20 people were on the street when a fight broke out between two groups of people. During the fight, a 38-year-old man had his manhood cut off.
He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors reattached his private parts. During the fight, a 26-year-old man was shot in the stomach five times.
When police questioned that 20 witnesses, they all said that they saw nothing. Police believe that the 20 witnesses do not want to be seen as snitches.
The shooter was described as a black man. He was wearing a red jacket, dark pants, and a dark shirt.
A tourist who said that he was from Chicago, Illinois, told police that the man’s manhood was cut off after he made disparaging remarks to a group of women who were partying in the area.
The friends of the man with the severed private parts, took the victim to the hospital while an ambulance took the shooting victim to the hospital.
Both are said to be in critical condition after suffering life threatening and life changing injuries. So far, no arrests have been made.
