(Scroll down for video) A woman was delighted to meet a man who became famous as the voice behind “You’ve Got Mail” of AOL.

Brandee Barker of California, said that she was driving around in Ohio, in order to help elect Hillary Clinton as the first female president on the United States.

On Saturday, she called Uber, and met driver Elwood Edwards.

When she heard Edwards’ voice, she immediately recognized it as the voice behind AOL. Barker then asked Edwards, whether she could record him saying “Welcome. You’ve got mail,” and he agreed.

Barker took a video of Edwards, and uploaded it on her Twitter account, where it quickly went viral. Edwards was paid $200 to record “Welcome,” “You’ve got mail,” “Files done,” and “Goodbye,” for AOL more than 25 years ago.

His voice is still being used. Edwards got the gig because his wife worked at Quantum Computer Services, which later became AOL.

“OMG OMG my @Uber driver in Ohio was the You've Got Mail voice Elwood Edwards!!! I made him say it in this video,” Barker wrote on Twitter.
