A family is seeking justice for their young son, who was sodomized and sexually abused by a woman.

Stephanie Rose Strong, 30, of Alabama, was arrested after she allegedly had sexual contact with a child.

Although detectives did not disclose the exact age of the child, they said that he is under 12 years old.

Strong was charged with two counts of first-degree sodomy and one count of sexual abuse. The boy told his mother about the abuse that occurred while he was at Strong's home in Lacey's Spring, officials said.

The boy and his parents filed a report with the Morgan County Sheriff's Office and strong was arrested. Prosecutors said that they have enough evidence against Strong to go to trial.

Strong, who is a married mother of one child, was released from the Morgan County jail after posting $60,000 bail.

She faces life in prison for each of the sodomy charges and up to 20 years behind bars for the sexual abuse charge.
