A teenager of New York, who loved his grandmother, accidentally killed her while trying to help.

Neighbors said that the teenager prepared to take his relatives to church on Sunday at 10:30 a.m., when he accidentally killed his grandmother.

The 17-year-old driver, who was identified as Jadesh, was moving the vehicle to make it easier for his grandmother to get into it.

The grandmother reportedly stepped into the path of the gray Toyota Sequoia, as Jadesh backed into their Queens Driveway.

The grandmother, who was identified as 75-year-old Chandravti Lakhan, was taken to the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The teenager lived at the home on 267th St. near 83rd Avenue in Glen Oaks, with his maternal grandparents, his mother, father and his four siblings.

Neighbor Basheer Ally, 56, said that Jadesh always looked out for his grandparents. He is very distraught over the accident.
