A woman was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly stealing her mother’s truck before being caught defecating in public, according to police in Florida.

Port St. Lucie police said that they have arrested 58-year-old Robin Mckenzie, after her mother reported that her daughter stole her pickup truck.

Mckenzie has been charged with one count of grand theft.

According to the criminal complaint, police officers noticed Mckenzie defecating in front of Wendy’s around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

When officers asked her why she was defecating in the street, Mckenzie said that she wanted to use the bathroom at Wendy’s, but since it was locked, she decided to relieve herself outside.

Police then checked the truck’s license plate number, and they learned that it was reported stolen. The truck is registered to Mckenzie’s mother.

Police called Mckenzie’s mother, who told them that a family member was working on the truck in the driveway when her daughter got into the vehicle and drove away.

Mckenzie told police that she took the truck because she wanted to visit her daughter in Louisiana.
