(Scroll down for video) Students at a high school in Florida, were shocked to learn that their assistant principal was jailed on drug charges.

Although many students said that she is a good role model, her latest actions have people questioning her values as a mother and as an assistant principal.

Donna Lynch Haff wanted to try marijuana for the first time on her 50th birthday. She reportedly asked her teenage daughter to get her the drugs.

19-year-old Allison Haff told police that she got the cookie from a co-worker and gave them to her mother, who works as the assistant principal of the Anclote High School in Pasco County.

After consuming the cookie, the assistant principal was rushed to the St. Joseph Hospital North in Tampa, where it was determined that she overdosed on the cookie that was made with cannabis oil.

The mother and daughter were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Haff was placed on paid leave while the school is investigating the incident.
