Two people of the United Kingdom, were arrested after beating a man in a road rage incident.
Adam Matera was beaten by two men, and he was left with swollen eye and bruised arms after a driver was upset that he was crossing the road too slowly.
Matera, 31, was walking with crutches after undergoing surgery. He was involved in a motorcycle accident.
One day, while Matera was in a crosswalk on the road with his girlfriend Katie Wells, 26, in Lancashire, driver Kenneth Wallwork, 28, and passenger Craig Fletcher, 24, honked the horn before getting out of the car.
The men demanded that Matera walk faster despite the fact that he was using crutches.
The Preston Crown Court heard that the two men punched and beat Matera, causing him to fall to the ground. When Wells came to his aid, she was also assaulted.
Now, Wallwork was sentenced to 16 months in prison and Fletcher was sentenced to 21 months in prison. Both terms were suspended for two years.
