Man sets himself on fire outside coffee shop while yelling about U.S. election results

(Scroll down for video) Firefighters and police rushed to a coffee shop after a distraught man set himself on fire while yelling about the recent U.S. election, according to police in Ohio.

The Akron Fire Department said that the incident unfolded on Saturday around 9:00 a.m., outside the Angel Falls Coffee shop on South Highland Avenue.

The 69-year-old man, who was not identified, was wearing a U.S. Marine Corps uniform as he entered the coffee shop. He then began yelling about the recent U.S. election and the protest against Donald Trump.

He also complained that not too many people are protesting Trump as president.

The man then went outside and doused himself with a can of gasoline. The man then set himself on fire. A person who witnessed the incident used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames.

The burn victim was taken to the Akron Children's Hospital, where he is being treated for severe burns.
