Chester police said that they have arrested 42-year-old Sheri Maufort, after being accused of performing sex acts on students and telling them to call her when they turn 18 year old.
Maufort was charged with institutional sexual assault, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with minors and endangering welfare of children.
She was booked into jail, pending a bail hearing. According to the police investigation, Maufort worked as a teacher’s aide in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District.
Maufort contacted a student under the age of 18, and told him to meet her outside her home. Maufort drove the teen to a restaurant parking lot, where she gave him alcohol.
When the boy got drunk, she performed a sex act on him.
Maufort told the student not to tell anyone what happened, and that he should call her when he turns 18 years old.
Maufort’s husband then came to the restaurant and drove the boy home.
Approximately three weeks later, Maufort contacted a second student, and went with him to a party, where she kissed him and touched his private parts.
