(Scroll down for video) A man was shocked that he was detained during a flight after announcing that Donald Trump is the president of all the people in the United States.

The incident unfolded on Tuesday, during a Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta, Georgia, to Allentown, Pennsylvania.

The video of the man’s announced was uploaded on Facebook, where it went viral. The video was viewed more than 2 million times, received about 18,000 shares and around 6,000 comments.

The video was taken by yoga teacher Emma Baum, 21, of Belize. The man began by standing in the aisle and yelling “Donald Trump baby.”

After several passengers voiced their displeasure with the announcement, the man said: “we got some Hillary b***hes on board.”

He then said: “Come on baby, Trump. Donald Trump is your president. Every one of you. If you don't like it, too bad.”

Baum revealed that after the man sat down in his seat, he was removed by flight attendants for at least 15 minutes.

When the passenger, who was not identified, was allowed to return to his seat, he said: “This is what you get for being a patriot.”

Delta Airlines said that the Trump supporter should have been kicked off the flight.

“We are sorry to our customers who experienced this disruption. We have followed up with the teams involved, and all agree that this customer should not have been allowed to continue on the flight.

“Our responsibility for ensuring all customers feel safe and comfortable with Delta includes requiring civil behavior from everyone.

“The behavior we see in this video does not square with our training or culture, and follow up will continue so we can better ensure our employees will know they will be fully supported to make the right decisions when these issues arise,” Delta Airlines said in a statement.
