(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested on a charge of attempted homicide after allegedly shooting her boyfriend because he rubbed pizza in her face, according to police in Pennsylvania.
Millmont police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Jennifer Boop, after being accused of using her boyfriend’s gun to shoot him the chest.
Boop was charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault and terroristic threats. She was booked into jail, and her bail has been set at $25,000.
According to the police investigation, Boop and her two daughters, aged 9 and 13, lived with her boyfriend, 34-year-old Brandon E. Doan.
On Wednesday, Boop and Doan began arguing. At some point, Doan old Boop to pack up her stuff and leave. When she refused, Doan grabbed a slice of pizza and rubbed it in her face.
In response, Boop grabbed her boyfriend’s gun and shot him in the chest. Boop’s two daughters were in another room during the shooting.
Doan was taken to the Geisinger Medical Center, where he was treated with surgery.
Doan is still wearing a neck brace as bullet fragments that became lodged near his spine were not removed because the surgery was deemed too risky.
As a result of the shooting, Doan is unable to use properly use his left hand.
