An armed robber in Iowa, is facing a long prison sentence for attempting to rob a restaurant before fleeing with a burrito.

The thief tried to take money from a Chipotle Mexican Grill in Des Moines, but fled with just one burrito, according to a police report.

Surveillance video shows the man walking into the restaurant at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. He waited in line to order a burrito.

When the man approached the cash register, he said that he had a gun in his sweatshirt. He opened a bag and asked the cashier to put money into it.

The cashier told police that he was scared, and ran to the back room without giving the suspect any money. The man then grabbed his burrito order and ran out the front door, police said.

“He escaped with a $7 burrito,” Sgt. Raymond Carrington of the Des Moines Police said. Police are now looking for the suspect, who is now facing serious charges.
