(Scroll down for video) With snow covering the roads, the Domino's Pizza chain in Japan, is looking into using reindeers to deliver food to customers.

Domino’s Pizza has announced that it is testing the possibility of using reindeer to deliver pizza pies in the snow-covered areas of the country amid expectations of a particularly cold winter.

The company posted a video to YouTube, showing one reindeer being delivered and tested.

The company placed a pizza warmer on the back of the reindeer and they took it out to the grounds of a driving school, where they are training the animal to work for them in Ishikari.

The company will use GPS tracking devices to track the progress of deliveries.

The video revealed that the plan still has some flaws such as making sure that pizza heaters stay on the reindeer and to prevent the animals from wandering dangerously down the road.
