(Scroll down for video) A librarian filed a lawsuit against a city after a library toilet exploded, sending pieces of porcelain into her leg, according to court documents in Florida.

69-year-old Anne Burson of Palm Harbor, suffered a contusion to her leg, which has resulted in a dark and gouging scar, as a result of the exploding toilet in the library.

The incident unfolded at the Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary.

Burson told the court that one day, when she was working in the school library, a maintenance team from the city came to work on the water lines of the school.

When she heard a loud explosion, she looked into the women’s bathroom and saw that a toilet had exploded.

She told one of the maintenance workers what she saw, and the worker cleaned the bathroom and informed her that it was safe to use.

Later that day, Burson returned to the bathroom and used a toilet. When Burson was standing at the sink to wash her hands, the toilet exploded, sending pieces of porcelain into her leg.
