(Scroll down for video) A man who got a long jail sentence for a robbery, got even more prison time after calling the judge names, according to court documents in Indiana.
25-year-old Steven Burns of Tippecanoe County, was arrested after being accused of a violent armed robbery.
According to the criminal complaint, Burns and two other men assaulted and robbed an elderly couple at their home. The three men threatened the owners before beating the husband on the head with a gun.
The three men fled from the scene with cash, credit cards and valuables. Hours later, the items were recovered after the three men were caught by police.
Burns, his 23-year-old brother Joseph Burns and 27-year-old Adam Smith, were arrested.
Steven was convicted of burglary while armed with a deadly weapon, robbery resulting in bodily injury and criminal confinement.
On Tuesday, after being sentenced to serve 70 years in prison, Steven Burns called Judge Steven Meyer a "cowardly b**ch." As a result Steven was sentenced to an additional 180 days in prison.
