The children of a driver in Florida, who died in his car, were surprised to learn that police officers slapped parking tickets on the windshield without noticing the dead body inside.
62-year-old Jacob Morpeau of Miami, was found dead in his car in Fort Lauderdale.
His upper body was resting on the center console and he held a credit card in his hand. A coroner said that Morpeau died of natural cases.
He suffered from cardiovascular disease.
Carolyn White said that she called police after noticing that the Isuzu Axiom had multiple tickets on the windshield and the driver appeared to be unresponsive.
Morpeau was declared dead at the scene. The city dismissed all the parking tickets.
