(Scroll down for video) A thief who wanted to break into a pizza shop through an exhaust, got stuck and had to scream for help, according to police in New York.
Penfield police said that they have arrested 53-year-old Richard Graham, after he had to be rescued from the exhaust of the pizza shop.
Graham has been charged with burglary, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools. He was booked into jail, and is being held without bail.
Last week, Graham pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree burglary in connection with an unrelated theft.
According to the police investigation, firefighters were called around 4:00 a.m. on Friday, after residents heard someone shouting for help from the pizza shop.
When the firefighters arrived, they tracked down the man in the Pontillo's Pizzeria shop. An employee working the night shift at a nearby convenience store, said that he heard Graham shouting for help.
Firefighters said that Graham was so far away from the opening of the exhaust that he could not be rescued from the outside.
The firefighters gained entry into the pizza shop through the front door, and they had to take apart the bottom of the exhaust system to rescue Graham.
Graham was taken to the Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and released to the custody of police.
